Title: ODroid: "The Powerful Linux Computer"
Post by: chinariderstl on January 16, 2015, 04:34:40 PM
There have been some recent threads about the Intel Compute Stick and the Raspberry Pi.  I figured the ODroid deserved its own thread as well. :)

A buddy of mine just bought the ODROID-U3 with a 1.7GHz Quad-Core processor, 2GB RAM, and 64GB of eMMC flash-based storage.  It runs Ubuntu and is pretty badass.  With the eMMC flash-based storage, the thing is super fast, and boots in a matter of seconds.

I believe he ordered his directly from Hard Kernel (Korea) and paid about $20 for shipping to the US, but there is a link at Hard Kernel to a US-based store.

I am looking to into either the U3, XU3, or the XU3 Lite. :)
