Topic: Microtrack battery replacement DIY

For what its worth, i decided to have a go at replacing the battery in my microtrack, and achieved it with some success.
I'd hear from anyone else who has done this and what replacement-battery they used and the performance achieved with it.

I have not tried this, as it was just posted to the micbuilders list earlier today, but it sounds promising. I know some of the members on that list are on TS as well, so maybe someone here has looked at this as a possibility.

I was very happy to find that Iphone 2g battery (1400mAh) replacement kit with a screwdriver and plastic lever perfectly matches Microtrack I. Original battery was li-pol 1200mAh size 50x59x4mm. Iphone is a bit thick but enclosure closes anyway. Cost 10$+shipping.
