Just out of curiosity, has anyone modded a PS-2/AD-20 combo into a single box with the phantom switchable? It just seems like this is begging to be done for the sake of saving some space.

Hmm. I think the Edirol UA5 does that already
Now realistically speaking, I think you've got two problems:
- PS2 phantom circuit may be pretty noisy, eg., cause interference with your pre in the AD20. I've seen the inside of the PS2 and this thing is incredibly shielded
- the boxes are probably pretty tightly packed already. At least the PS2 is.
I'm not saying this can't be done, it just seems difficult, that's all.
HEY: If anyone has pics of the innards of the AD20, I've love to see them!
