So i've read that wavelab is the best for dithering because its the same as apogee. what about downsampling? what rules that realm? I have access to adobe audition, soundforge 7.0 and wavelab 4.01b can also get just about any other audio program, so the options are pretty much limitless.
Does anyone have a preference on which is better? and why? Also, while i'm at it, which is better for recording in the field. To be honest, i switch things up just about every time i record and down sample as of late. but i'd really like to just start sticking with one.
thanks
