CDWave -> FLAC
« on: February 14, 2004, 05:31:36 PM »
Anyone found problems with doing this?  Got a 2 disc NC show that I split into 2 tracks in SoundForge.  Tracked out in CDWave.  If I use the FLAC save function in CDWave am I going to have issues with the sector boundaries at the end of disc 1?

Do sector problems at the end of the last track of a disc matter?

Not really, since there's nothing technically right after the boundary error. However, the first time somebody runs this seed through SHN Tool, and you get an email complaining about it, you'll wish you'd fixed it the first time around.

Might be worth emailing the CDWave guy and see if he could add a fix in.  I'll get on that.

Brainfart.  You could always run shntool on the full file before doing the tracking....it would still be nice to not ever have to do it though.
