I finally stepped up and bought this software that I hear so much about. I'm wondering if anyone has links or tutorial pages that are geared toward editing/mastering live recordings? I have been using Adobe Audition CC 2015 for most tasks. Does anyone have a preference for one over the other? Advantages, is one better for mastering etc? Thanks for any help.

I would start with youtube. I would start with some of the canned presets and then try tweaking them to what makes your ears happier.

Haven't checked recently, and don't have Ozone myself, but Izotope had (has?) available somewhere on their website a well written and pretty thorough PDF document on mastering. I recommended it to a few times to people who weren't using Izotope software simply because it was a good overview and did a decent job summing things up. Try searching for that.

AA and Ozone are two very different tools.
I use both (AA CC6 and Ozone 7 Advanced) and can recommend AA for recording/multitracking and editing and Ozone for mastering.
If I had to pick one I would highly recommend Ozone, for two reasons: 1) it is excellent as a standalone app or as a VST insert in another DAW/Editor; 2) AA is a great product, but doesn't really do anything better than most other DAWS.

I have used Ozone 4 and it is very effective. I work in film recording and I find it great for repairing audio, especially isolating problems in the spectrogram... Lynda.com has a great tutorial http://www.lynda.com/RX-tutorials/Repairing-Enhancing-Audio-iZotope-RX-4/366444-2.html It's for IO 4 but I'm sure much of it relates to 7...

^ iZotope makes both Ozone and RX as well as other software too, you wrote of Ozone 4 and linked to RX tutorials they are different applications. ;)
Great products, they recently ran an upgrade offer with special pricing for many of their products that has expired. I'm in the camp of don't use the Ozone presets, decide what your mix needs then apply it yourself without using presets. iZotope has instructional PDF manuals available to download as well as some videos.
As an FYI if you're on a Mac iZotope does not recommend upgrading to OS X El Cap at this time but they are working on the issue and it should be resolved soon. http://www.izotope.com/en/community/blog/product-news/2015/09/el-capitan-compatibility/?&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=Mailchimp&utm_campaign=2015-10+El+Capitan+Notification

I LOVE the MBIT+ Dithering scheme found in iZotope!!! But unfortunately at the moment, I'm suddenly having issues with my iZotope plugins in WL 6.1 after working flawlessly for a few years. But overall the iZotope stuff is pretty amazing! You can do a lot with it. I think I should upgrade too! Maybe that's why I'm having issues because I'm using Ozone 5 Advanced right now!!! I wish that I could get the SRC from iZotope to work with WL 6.1, because the iZotope Sample rate converter and bit rate converter are the best in my eyes[and ears] :) I'm sure that you will get your money's worth out of Ozone 7 8)

I found the guides on the iZotope site to be very helpful:

Same here. I use Adobe Audition 3.0 for recording, multi-tracks and edits. Ozone for finished mastering. Both are beautiful products. If Ozone only have a "record" function ...
