Smaller device similar to Mackie 'Big Knob'
« on: September 02, 2008, 10:11:20 PM »
I'm after something that will allow for 1 pair of speakers and 1 pair of headphones to be switched in and out between the two. The Mackie Big Knob comes to mind but has way to many features for what I need to do.

I just want a simple unit that will come from the iMac to a speaker pair and headphone. Possibly with a volume control for each, and a switch to swap between the two.

Anyone have any suggestions?????

I can solder but not design.

What is required? Is it simply a pair of volume controls with no other electronics??
