Title: DPA 4071's?

What are they? Will they work for what we do? :-\

I read that Moke. So we know they're omnis. But will they work as a good stealth mic? Or is it more for close up speech?

Since these mics have a built in HPF at 100 Hz, I wouldn't give them a second thought for what we do.

I had someone telling me when I first started taping that he preferred these to the 4071's, but he was trying to sell them, so that might be some biased info.  I'd say that I agree with MattD though- the 4061's in my experience (so far only with AD-20) are very crisp, and any more of a high end boost might be too crisp, IMO... but YMMV

FWIW, I really, really like the 4061's... found cheap on ebay, and can be powered by a sound pro's bb.
