Does Schoeps make clips for their capsules?
If so, can someone recommend a dealer?
If not, is there some alternate manufacturer that will work?

is another option (can buy the metal clips or plastic).  They are called the sgc or sgcm clips.  If you combine this with a vark bar (also available at posthorn), you'll be able to adjust the included angle of the capsules instead of being fixed position with the Kwon bars...

What I'm looking for though, guys, is a way to clip them to a head band I'll be wearing underneath my hair or, in the alternative, to the top edge of my purse which will sit on a table. 

I've got a pair of clips that came with my Sound Pro mics, but they're too small to work with the Schoeps.

Most all the recording I'll be doing will be in venues which don't allow taping, so I won't be able to run on a stand.

I know of no such stock clip that will work for your purpose.  Maybe elastic sewed onto the headband? Depends on the type of headband I suppose.  I use elastic inside my hat to hold the caps in place.  No idea on the  purse.

I plan on mostly wearing the mics on my head -- I've got long hair which will make hiding the mics very easy.  I have a head band which I will wear backwards, if you will, running underneath my hair and ending right above each ear.  What I was envisioning was clipping my mics to the headband.

Alternatively, clipping the mics onto my purse works great in one of the venues I tape, where I'm able to set my purse on the balcony rail.

I don't know what SGC clips are, Alex.  Where can I purchase them?

Hey Moke ~

Yeah, I did see your headband . . . . very, very cool.  That might just be the way I'll have to go.  I was hoping to pull off something more simple, though, as I am extremely inept when it comes to building stuff. 

The picture above looks to me like it is part of a small stand ??  Again, I'm confused.  Are you referring to just the top portion that's attached to the mic?  Is that separate from the post thingy?

a rig of velcro wraped around the headband and capsule would probably work.  cheap too.
