Hi, I have a pair of older mics (SuperScope EC-3s) that I've only ever powered with onboard AA batteries. I recently got an SP-SPSB-8-MKII with the 3.5 mm stereo input, and am toying with the idea of trying to get the mics a bit more power. Can I use a 3.5mm Stereo > 2x Mono splitter into the battery box? Anything I should look out for?
Thanks very much!

I wouldn't. If it's like these other mics from the same brand, it looks like the operating voltage is 1.1-1.5 volts dc. You'll likely fry them with 9v.
