Well, Schoeps announced yesterday that their products have increased in cost from approximately 15-20% as of 4/1/03
The reason for this is the Euro is not very strong against the US dollar or something close to that...I thought that Europe changed to the Euro to make it equal to the dollar!? anyways, just letting you all know!

nah they changed to the euro so as to be a competing economic force on a global scale. i guess that means to compete with the dollar, but its a bit bigger than that from my perspective.

Yeah, I kind of hace the Euro thing mized up...oh well
Either way, it has to do with the US to Euro ratio

but the euros look SO much cooler than dollars!!!! ;)

yea, I know what you mean. I lived in Europe for 3 years, so I got use to colored money, and it does look cool, but I call it play money, same thing I can canadian money when I go up, always got to get rid of your play money before you leave ;)
Good old american greenbacks, now thats what I want when it comes time to getting paid... ;D

Damn, that increas was big, same mics and bodies I got last spring are selling for over $500 more now.
