I bought the highest strength (red), 3000 psi, for about $6.00 a tube.  Worked like a charm.  Thanks guys.

im a mechanic, and encounter stuff fromt iem to tiem where they have used red loctite. its a bitch if you dont have much space to work and get a long breaker bar in there!

For me, this will be my permanent 5/8 stand adapter.  I will always use the A27M or KM235 bars.  If I need an accessory, like an umbrella, I can always go the super clamp route.  I doubt I'll need anything else.

not always an option here. i work on very complex forklifts that often have very sensitive electronics everywhere. 9 times outta 10 the torch isnt a viable optin ;)
