Title: Chinese Knock-off recorder on eBay
Post by: ideal77dlr on December 22, 2018, 02:56:46 PM
Interesting design. Looks a bit like the Sony M10.

It’s on eBay, item 163445347317.

Has a line-in, hold and takes Micro SD cards. It’s proably not amazing - not keen on th3 idea of a built in battery - but it shows that these copies are coming out and cheaply. What is interesting is that it’s quite small and thin.

Especially since it seems a lot of companies like Sony aren’t really doing a successor to the M10, maybe it’s only a matter of time until we see units that are coming out of China that do the job to a similar standard?

I can't seem to find it using the item number.  Could you provide more search terms or a link?  Thanks in advance.

1.  They don't know their right side from their left side, yet.  Pesky Chinese knockoff artists.

2.  16bit, 48 Khz (1536Kbps), and some sort of MP3

3. "Can realize ultra-long video recording, continuous video recording up to 72h" ---- Video, you say??

4.  "Hanging Rope Perimeter:  26cm (Approx.)" ----- ????

Appears to be a voice recorder. It doesn't look that bad but doesn't look that good either. I bet it can't handle "loud" but it does have a line in jack.
The package comes with a telephone RJ-11 adaptor so you can record phone calls (automatically if you set it to be sound activated).
I don't like the exposed microSD slot. Seems like it would be unreliable at best and pick up dust.
Unbranded.

It's got mics, a screen, and some buttons - and there the similarlty to the M10 probably ends!

Another Chinese recorder is the Saramonic SR-VRM1:
