Mic recommendations?
«

Morning all,
I was wondering if some of you could recommend a few mics for me. I've just ordered an R-09 for taking field samples of my travels around Australia. I'll be record a lot of outside and nature-type bits and pieces and was wonder which mic would be best suited for the job. Ideally it would need to be as small compact as possible as I'll be carrying the set up around in a pair of board shorts
Any advice would be a big help.

You'll be the man sporting this in your board shorts!
In all seriousness I'd say something small like a church audio setup perhaps....

Thanks for your reply tapermark. Just wondering, would a SP-PASM-2 be overkill and would it work with the R-09? (sorry for being a complete noob!)
