I looked into making them but they cost a bit more than I was willing to spend. Check out the cable asylum on audioasylum.com, lots of info about these and other cables

Yeah, it looks like parts are around $300 for 3-4 pairs.

I use a couple of power cords that are his recipe and they made an immediately noticable improvement so I suspect the DIY ICs are pretty good.

They are absolutely stunning once you get them done. I will mention, that they will reveal detail in your system that you have never heard before, this could be good or bad depending on how you see it. Well worth the money though.

Last summer I tried to find someone to split a spool of that cotton insulated silver wire but no takers. How about it?
