I just sent them an e-mail to get some clarification on the Audio playback capabilities.

Pretty nice idea if it works as advertised. Plus it really isn't all that expensive considering

flac24?
does it have fans?

very cheap if you are comparing it to a HTPC and would do everything I need.

This is the question I asked (in red) and the response below. Looks promising

Question about the audio playback features.

I was curious. The specs list 24bit/192khz Stereo DAC. Is the player capable of outputting 24/192 stereo PCM ? And if so is it able to do this unrestricted on the Digital outputs as well ?

I also do not see WAV as a listed file format. Is this what you mean by Audio CD and if so does it support 24Bit WAV file playback.

Thank you in advanced

Thanks for your inquiry.

The X-Line player supports PCM and RAW audio format, the “Audio Setting” can be set to RAW (Encoded digital signal) or PCM (Digital signal but has been already decoded). And it is able to output 192/24 PCM audio format.

In addition, WAV format audio files are supported as well.
