Shure is pretty good about that type of thing. They are such a big company it's easier for them to chuck the broken stuff in a pile and ship a new replacment, at least for the low to mid priced stuff. They did the same thing with a couple of pairs of our E5's. They were probably close to 2 years out of warranty and they just sent us new ones, no extra charge. Yonder had alot of Shure stuff, and I never had anything but great dealings with Shure. +T for new in-ears for you!
