6V V-2
« on: December 17, 2008, 06:38:34 PM »
So I just got my mitts on a V-2...no cables, batteries, nothin'.  I did place a call to Kind Kables and there was no answer.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

It's not too hard to make your own power cable if you're comfortable with soldering.

From the V2 manual:

"A four pin XLR connector is used for the DC power. [snip]... To avoid compatibility problems it is recommended that 6 Volt systems be wired to use pin 3 for hot (+6v) and pin2 for ground [snip]... The V2 current draw ranges from .38A to .62A depending on the microphone used."
