Bluetooth Audio?
« on: March 23, 2004, 01:47:12 PM »
I just bought an ibook with buletooth built in and it got me thinking about bluetooth audio devices. Does anyone know if there is such a thing? Or would it be possible to make a current USB device bluetooth enabled? I was thinking like a usb connector that plugs into a device like my EMI 2/6 and transmitts a signal to my ibook. Thanks for any comments.

i think the max bandwidth for bluetooth is something like 1mbps, which couldn't even handle 16/44.1 stereo

Exactly, nowhere near enough bandwidth for audio.
