Shure A53m shocks with SP-C4s and a T-Bar...
« on: July 05, 2007, 11:53:17 AM »
I noticed in Todd R's FS thread that he was including A53m shocks but looking at the pictures of them I am confused on how they absorb shock.  Anyone care to share this with me?

Another question would be what T-Bar would you use with these?

thanks y'all.

The A53m shocks use a tube of rubber into which the mic slides.  The rubber provides the shock absorption.

I'd imagine you could use them with any t-bar, though I only used them with a DIY 3' bar I made for doing split omnis.  The AKG/K&M bar that many use would certainly work well.
