Has anyone here converted the 930's to actives? I really want a low profile, non body type of mic. I was wondering if anyone runs these in that form?
Any help is good help,

The "active" version are the CK930's. They can be hard to find, so if you see any snatch them up.
When looking keep in mind that "set" means the capsule, cabling and body...NOT 2 complete microphones.
EDIT: Also Naiant makes the IPA for the CK930's, so you'd run the caps > cable > IPA > recorder.

Has anyone converted the MC930, to a quasi ck930 with any custom cable, etc?

Call me crazy, but even I would not hack a beautiful set of Beyers for this.
The capsules do not come off the bodies very nicely.

Ahhhh, gotcha. I didnt realize that the cap did not come off the body, like other active mic set ups.. Well there ya go.....
Thanks for the info
