I have tried searching for this command online & on their website. I simply want to stop the playback were the cursor/line is and not have it go back to where it was started from. Seems like a simple request but i don't see a button for it or a command.
Audition has it, useful for stopping right at artifact i want to work on. Sometimes I just don't need to work on an entire selection I just want to stop (PAUSE) & work on it as i go. Maybe its me & i spent too much time in Audution manually editing stuff that I should let the program handle.

I'm on RX4, and the Play / Stop button or the spacebar pauses exactly where the cursor is, and it resumes at the same spot when you press Play / spacebar again. Does RX5 really not work the same way?

Easy fix...
Select "Transport" menu and unselect "Playhead returns on stop".

Now that I can use RX5 as I think it should be used, I find it much more robust even at the entry level version than Audition.
My edits for clothing noise, stick bumps are much faster now.
I prefer to do individual edits rather than have the program analyze the whole works because I run the risk of losing something I want to keep. What I may try next is just dropping markers at the problem spots & seeing if I can use a "broad Brush" Then go back to those markers to see what happened.
I already feel I'll be upgrading to the full bundle in the near future after I get my feet wet with this. :coolguy:
