Title: UA-5 Mod to match with SP-C4s?
Post by: WolfmanDMB on December 21, 2005, 02:54:11 AM: seeing what a good mod to match with my newly acquired c4s might be. i know that its whatever sounds good to your ears, but has anyone had really good pulls from one more than another? im thinking about the w-mod.

Check out the link in my signature line and look for any of the Austin City Limits Festival (ACL) recordings. Check out the Particle show which sounds great IMO, as well as the John Butler Trio show. Also check out the Donavon show from 2-22-05. I think it sounds pretty sweet as well.

there are side by side samples on Oade's page using the C-4s and various ua-5 flavors

I'll second that. I ran O-Canis' C4's with my p-mod UA-5 and the results were great!
