CDwav users question about saving tracks
« on: August 07, 2004, 10:45:18 PM »
Hey all
I have a question , how do I get the tracks to be saved in order. Everytime I save the tracked files they are always out of order and I can not figure out how to make sure they are saved in the order I tracked them. Anyone know of how to do this?
        Thanks

Where are they out of order?

Perhaps you just need to "Right Click > Sort By > Name"

Most sorting stuff is controlled by Windows...

Or perhaps one file or a few have a slight different title:
GD20004-08-06d1t1
GD-2004-08-06d1t2
or something similiar!

make sure you label the tracks correctly. Use "01" instead of just "1".

gd1984-04-07d1t07 and then the extension... flac, shn, etc.

Thanks guys I'll try the 0 before the track # and see how that works. I tried right clicking and selecting sort by and none would work. Thanks for the help and +T's ;D

i always name my original file something like

ph2004-08-08d1t

then when i start splitting it, the first track will be d1t01 and will continues from there named correctly

I tried making the tracks t01 instead of just t1 and it works just fine. Thanks again and +T's :)
