formatting external drives?

im looking to totally wipre a external drive tonight. i have the duke & nuke program that TOTALLY wipes the drive, but how would i be able to format it for use again?

ive never done anything like this

actually im not sure i can even use that disc to format that drive, what program/tool could i use?

any help much appreciated. im out to totally wipe my pc hard drive also and do a full factory restore to it too, and thought i would wipe the external while im at it

Dustin, after you nuke the drive just partition & format it like you would any brand new outta the box drive.

you were the one wanting that other program right?

im gonna set up a server on my pc again this morning, so you can jump on and grab the other and upload that if thats cool

just finished a full restore on my home pc, its soo nice without all the bullshit that had been on it, and just seems so much "fresher"  now
