Fair Price
« on: February 10, 2005, 04:26:17 PM »
What do you all think a fair asking price for a v2 and an ad2k would be. I do not want to include any batteries but the power cables would be included. I am thinking of putting these 2 items on the market so I can start saving for my 744 :-)

$650-700 for the V2.
I've seen the AD2k's for as low as $700 (which is brutal loss if you bought it new).
Good luck....I'll bet the V2 moves quick.

Few months ago I sold my V2 w/SLA and cable for 650. YMMV.

I’m going to stick with the 4022 for a while but the U89Is are on my wish list...  ;D Correct me if I am wrong but the 744 will save each channel as a separate file so you could have 2 stereo recordings from 2 different sets of mics..

If you have another preamp, you can do that with the 744t. Only 2 of the channels have mic preamps on them.
Out of the game … for now?

So you should be hanging on to that V2.

Yeah...the 744 is a 4 track recorder, the 722 is 2 track.   As Matt said, only 2 of the channels have a preamp on them, so you need something to power another set of mics.  A line level feed from a SB should work on the un-preamped channels though.

$700 for each is probably all you are gonna be able to muster.

you should throw in your deck too and just buy a DA-20 or D-5 used on ebay for like $300
