ua-5 with jb3
« on: May 23, 2005, 11:49:07 PM »
Do I need to run my warm mod ua-5 into my computer for the firmware updates, or would it be ok to leave it as is.  Also, Im still confused about the track seperation on the jb3 during long recordings, if I have the latest firm ware does it dissable the track seperations or do I need to do it manually on the settings of my jb3?  Thanks for all your help.  I just got my mics (at853rx's) in the mail today and I want to make my first tape tommorow night so I want to be ready.  Any other words of advice would be appreciated.  Thanks again,

Brian

JB3 will record 3 hours at a time.  You will have to manually hit "new recording" or just track forward to start a new recording.

you don't need to update firmware for the UA5

You don't need the drivers for the UA-5 unless you're using it with a pc/laptop for recording/playback.  They don't come into play when using it standalone to feed a JB3.
