Title: AT822>Microtracker Issue
Post by: ziko on September 27, 2008, 11:50:21 AM
Hoping someone here has the answer. I have a audio-technica822 stereo mic running into a microtracker.  This is my back/stealth deal I hope. I have recorded up close with it a few times and even 20 feet back and I am basically getting a half a effing wave. whats there like would be great if the other half was there. d'oh. I am going into the 1/8 mic input. any help greatly appreciated.

Are you using the MT 1 or MT 2?  I've made a few recordings using other AT mics going into my MT 2 1/8 input and have noticed a similar wav effect, just not as severe, but one side definately a lot shorter (cutoff?)

I noticed it moreso on a recording done with no battery box.

check the polarity of the battery and if it is new
other than that check the cable for shorts or breaks
