Title: Lemo>XLR adapter?
Post by: Nick Graham on June 14, 2005, 09:46:48 PM
I'm pretty sure no such thing exists, but figured I'd ask anyway.

Is there any type of adapter/transformer/Y cable that can convert a single lemo connection into 2 XLRs? Namely, a Schoeps KCY cable.

Any clue?

I don't know of one, but that doesn't mean it can't be done.  I suppose you could simply map the 5-pin binder pinouts to 2 x XLR - AFAIK it's simply + for each channel, - for each channel, and a common ground.

You trying to find a way to run the MKx > KCY independent of the SX-M2/LS2?  If so, I don't believe that's possible (unless you run it to the VMS5U pre.
