I have Izotope RX2 standard and can upgrade to RX3 standard, not pro, for $99. Any thoughts whether the upgrade is worth it?

Idk, got the same e-mail, same dilemma. Haven't had time to delve into what RX3 would add or improve and would appreciate any user feedback on RX3.

Basic version upgrade: faster, easier interface, added normalize gain function, plug in functionality, dithering and resampling added. Not sure if improvement to have more automated the denoise function in RX3 basic over RX2.
RX3advanced gets: declip, channel operations, denoiser has more manual control, dialogue denoiser, dereverb and free insight tools.
A couple of posts on GS in the post production forum are favorable towards the basic upgrade, but seem much more enthused about the advanced product, especially at the price through May 1.
If I was paid to work with recorded dialogue on a daily basis that I had to clean up by removing bird chirps, vehicle noise, etc. like those guys, I could see why they'd be more interested in the advanced product.

It'd be a more interesting product if it were designed to eliminate dialog rather than trying to enhance it.

Nearing the end of this deal. I just ordered the standard upgrade. for folks who are more heavily involved in cleaning up recordings, the advanced package may be worth considering while its on sale.

What I want is a "de-Woooooooooo" plugin. :D
On a serious note; great piece of software that does things A LOT better than my audio editing package does. Well worth the price.
