Wavelab 16/24bit rendering of matrixes?!
« on: April 02, 2005, 12:27:58 AM »
Render Audio Montage in 24bit and then dither with UV22HR or render it in 16bit?

Is it worth it to seed a 24bit version?  There is more detail in the recording at 24/44.1 even though both sources are 16 bit.

I am working on GD12-15-1986 Jerry's comeback.  The SBD is sterile but crisp (Sonic Solutions DSP), the audience is full of atmosphere but distant (my split NakCm101 > Nak 550 source).  Together, it is AMAZING!  Should be done in another two weeks or so.

Yes it is worth seeding at 24 bit and I would say, "why not go 96/24!".
