Title: Advice on cleaning the headphone pot on a Shure fp24

So there is an occasional scratchy sound that is only present through the headphone output.  All other ins/out are clean.

This only occurs occasionally.  Is there a way to clean the headphone p0t to eliminate the scratchy sound being output through the headphone output?

toothpick w a lil superglue on end?

is it pot or jack?  if it is jack try plug unplug for 3 or 4 mins.  If it is pot, I'd try and cleaner that is computer circuit board safe.  Then try getting it to run down shaft.  No sure if pots are sealed.  You can also turn pot from off to full for 3-4 mins see if that cleans up contacts

This. Caig DeOxit red is the stuff. Spray into the pot. (remove knob, spray along shaft) work the pot back and forth, repeat if necessary.

Search for Caig Deoxit Fader Lubricant, it's available in a spray in different sizes or needle dropper from many sources.
These products can help perhaps only temporary.  It may be time to replace the pot but since it's only the HP level control it's not critical like the input level pots.

Here's another thought, the solder connection on the pot to the circuit board may need to be touched up. Worth looking at if Fader Lubricant does not seem to help.
