Correct me if I'm wrong, and never mind this is in the wrong forum, but exactly how are you gonna change cable with 4022s? They're permenantly attached.

Right now nothing...in the past: Schoeps CMC6, AKG 480, AKG 460, AKG 414, MBHO 603a, Neumann KM100, ADK TL>Schoeps MK4, Schoeps MK2, Schoeps MK41, AKG ck61, AKG ck62, AKG ck63, Neumann AK40, Neumann AK50, MBHO ka200>Lunatec V2, Lunatec V3, Apogee Mini-Me, Oade M148, Oade M248, Sound Devices MP2, Sonosax SXM2>Sony (mod)SBM1, Apogee AD500>D7, D8, D100, M1, R1, R4, R09, iRiver HP120, Microtrack

Lots of XLR cable options - DIY with silver cable or Canare cable, Audiomatic HyperConductors, custom cables from ToddR here at TS.  What's your budget, how long do they need to be, what other gear, precisely, are you running (for reference)?

DPA 4022 > Denecke something-or-other? > Edirol R1?
Milab VM-44 Links > Fostex FR-2LE or
Naiant IPA (tinybox format) >
Roland R-05

I may be wrong, but don't the bodies of the dpa, assuming their like the schoeps, fit right into the deneke ps-2?  I always say, the best cables are no cables.  Actually, that was the first time I've ever said that, but from now on- thats what I always say.

I believe the DPA 4021/4022/4023 line of mics is bodyless, as is the case with the Schoeps ccm4/5/6 line, no bodies are used at all cap>cable>preamp
