MK5s
« on: April 21, 2004, 11:49:21 AM »
I have been listening to Jasons nite2 tapes from vegas and those mk5s/tubes combo is great.  That little HF boost really helps out IMO compared to just the standard MK4 card caps.  Cant wait for summer to see if the omni's shine as much!

I have to say, this run of Phish shows is probably the best sounding mix since NYE 97 run.  Nice and rich sounding on all the tapes compared to the brightness of NYE run 98>current.

Right on Sideshow!!

Thanks Phil. I too am really liking the HF boost on the MK5's in the card setting. The high end compliments the tube warmth quite nicely. Also, I have been suprised at how detailed the image is in larger rooms like Vegas and Miami. I'd like to hear John's CMC6/5's to compare. Omni's this summer in VT will be fun.....ready Tim?? ;)

Thanks.....Jason

Want a patch this summer???  :P

The 41's sound great Dave, but you would be suprised at how good the 5's card sound from the section. You know which sheppy cap owns the outdoor venues** ;)

Thanks....Jason
