Anyone had any experience with the tascam dp-006 looks decent. any thoughts
Microphones: AKG 460B, 480B, Naiant Actives,CK1,CK61,CK62,CK63, CK69, Busman BSC-1, CA-14
Preamps: Naiant Littlebox, Naiant Tinyhead
Recorders: Zoom F6, Tascam DR-05

I think there are many reasons you don't see tapers using any of these cheap mixer/recorders.

Now, I'm not very knowledgable about these types of things, but it looks like you can only record two mono tracks at a time since it only has two mono 1/4" jacks.  This particular unit also doesn't have any preamps or phantom power and only records 16/44.1.  Looks pretty terrible for what we do (and for what anyone does really).
