Title: 32K recording help
Post by: dgodwin on February 21, 2005, 01:04:44 AM
I accidently recorded a recent show in 32k quality.  The problem is that my DIO 2448 has no idea what to do with this signal.  Any suggestions?  I'm thinking either doing a analog out on the DAT back into the SBM-1 with the correct setting, or trying to see if I can transfer the show digitally to my brand new JB3 and using that as the transfer medium between the DAT and the computer.  The problem I forsee, is that there isn't a setting for 32k on the JB3.  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

There isn't any setting for digital in on the JB3...when you select "Optical", the following "Monitor Source" selction is just for "Wav" - no rate is specified or available for selection...

...once you are recording, the display will show the sample rate of the source...

Give it a shot with the JB3 - I wouldn't be suprised if it worked...

Thanks for the reply.  I have to wait until I get my 7 pin -> optical cable from Fozzy, and I'll try it out.  Thanks
