4 Channel Quadraphonic
« on: July 10, 2010, 01:28:38 AM »
Last time out I was recording 4 channel. SO tonight I taped a show and did not change the settings on the R44.
What came out were 2 gig files in .WAV format. I went to load the files into Wavlab and it will not recognize the file.
I can play and listen to the file in CD Wave Editor.

Does anyone have any experience with this or know what I can do to get this into 16bit?

Any help would be great.

soundforge will open the file as will utilities from both fostex and sound devices....  Both the company provoded programs will let you save the files in other formats.

All fixed. Ended up getting SF 9.0 from a buddy. Opened the files and copied the two channels I needed. I then opened a new window and pasted. Very smooth and easy process. Though I was going to lose the tape and I was the only taper at the show.

Thanks for the help.
