Hi everyone,
Not sure how to title this any better. I came across this photo while searching through the yard sale and I want to know what it is that I have circled in red. Any ideas? I think the mics are chopped Nakamichi 300s. Could the thing be the bodies? I couldn't find the original post for this pic.

Those look like the NADY phantom power adapters I sold on ebay last year.
Basically they convert 48V to something around 9V to power the microphones.
Those are the older version of this

Ah, yes, I see the marking on the side of the bodies look like the say "NADY"
And it looks like the CM-300 mics operate on 7-10V, so that all makes sense.
I was hoping these were mics requiring higher voltage and what was plugged into the deck were some fancy adapters for actives.
Thanks for the sleuthing!

Looks like a Shure A55M shock mount - supporting a pair of AKG-ish looking mic mounts...perhaps on a homebrew center piece to thread the mounts.

Oops, sorry. I forgot to link to the thread I found the photo in. There's discussion as to what mount it is

The mic clips/holders are made by Audix.
