Title: JB3 battery usage tips
Post by: cgresq192 on November 12, 2005, 11:09:00 AM

OK, I've looked all over the board and haven't found a direct answer to this. I don't use my JB3 that much, I dont' tape that often, maybe once every month or every other month, depending on the bands coming around.  Anyways

What I usually do is I'll charge up the JB3 the day of the show, (using 2 facory batteries in the JB3). I go out and record, come home and dump the wav files on the pc. Then I don't use it again until the next show. Keep in mind, the batteries stilll have a good charge left in them while their dormant.

Now I remember reading somewhere that it's recommended to leave the batteries at 30% charge when you're not using it. What is the best way to achieve this, should I just play back audio until the battey drains to 1 bar or something? Thanks for any help! Much appreciated
