Title: Sony M-10 "Process Error" on format
Post by: rigpimp on September 09, 2017, 12:23:14 PM
So I have a 64GB card in my M-10 that has been specially formatted to work in the M-10.

I can clean up teh card by deleting files just fine but if I try and "Format" that card using the recorder I get a "Process Error" message.  According to the manual it is because it cannot access the memory.

I have never had any memory problems but it would be nice to be able to format the card once in a while to unsure that it is clean-clean.

Any ideas?

I think the M10 can only handle a 32gig card!  Might be the problem.

^^This is incorrect but may play a part in the machine itself not being able to format the card.

I just ran GUIFormat on it again just to be safe.

Does it still format 32gig cards fine??  If so then I would say it isn't built to reformat a card that large.
