At853s work great with 12v batt box. I have one from sound pros which goes onto the top of my R09 which takes a little 12v battery. Can't comment on At9xx series positively but I think probably OK, call Chris at Soundpro to confirm.

oh, that is sweeeeeeet.  i've got a pair of the Rycote INV-2 for my MKH8040 mics.  glad to know they are also compatible with the CK1x caps.  options are good, many thanks!!!
