Title: 2gb file limits in win xp pro, wavelab 4.0c
Post by: baustin on March 02, 2005, 09:59:05 AM
I think I may have gotten my laptop ready for concert recording. I saw some info in the archive, but am looking for confirmation before taping tonight.

I'm running Wavelab 4.0c on a Win XP Pro machine.

I checked under My Computer>Manage>Disk Manage and it says that my C Drive is NTFS. Does this mean I have nothing to worry about?

If I do need to adjust Wavelab to do file splits, could somebody give me some definitive instructions on how to set the software up.

Thanx!
-BA

PS - Anybody got an extra for Moe at Smiths in ATL tonight?!

in wavelab's record window, click "auto split". set it to 1.99 gb (or any number below 2 of your liking). then go tape :)

It was fixed after version c. The first version that I personally used after that was 4.0g. I'm on 4.01a now.
