I've been using this over the past week, and I'm amazed that this is a free program. Apparently Blackmagic makes their money on their control surfaces you can use to run the software. Far beyond what I'd ever need, especially all of the advanced grading features.

I've been a Sony Vegas user for quite a while, but the word is that Sony isn't developing it anymore, and I've been looking for something more modern and intuitive anyway. This looks like it!

thank you, ive always known it to be a colour correction software but wasn't sure if also was good for editing.

Color correction nodes are unlimited in all versions. If you mean GPUs, then yes you are limited to 1 on the free version.

i just download it so overwhelming i have no idea where to start.
Voltronic is there website you can point me too for a step by step to get started.

IIRC Ripple Training also has lessons on this. I enjoy their tutorials and would recommend sampling their free lessons.
