Yes, for a digital camera. 

I want the polarizer for when I'm shooting through glass at hockey games. 

The UV is for shooting next time I'm in Colorado.  I took a lot of shots at 11,000ft-12,000ft and they have a washed out effect.  I found some articles that showed photos with and with out UV filters and teh without shots look just like mine.  I can correct that with software?

So what is the recommendation on price range for something that will be good?
