Title: Recommend a Mouse that WORKS!!!
Post by: runonce on March 18, 2014, 09:54:37 PM
So farking sick of wireless mice that don't work...

I dont even think wireless-ness is that important...just so it WORKS!!!

HP is the worst - absolute junk...I should just put the box that my latest keyboard/mouse combo came in - in front of the computer - because the picture on the box will work just as well.
I have at least 3 HP mice that dont work...

Logitech is only marginally better...

I always end up with these laggy/jumpy POSes...

Not sure I have some interference problem - but I can't seem to win on this very basic device...

Anyone have a mouse that they love!?

The Logitech seems the best of the 3 I have at the moment...and I like their shape the best also.

But my Gateway wired optical is the best...it works.

I had a Targus that was fine - but I dropped the receiver into a crack in my floor - and can't retrieve it.(the perfect shot!)

The only good mouse is a dead mouse. I've long been a fan of trackballs. The gold standard is an old Microsoft model, believe it or not, but they're discontinued and hard to get ahold of at a reasonable price. Best alternative I've found is the Logitech Trackman Marble (not the FX thumb-driven one). $0.02

You don't have any other wireless devices around that may be interfering with its signal, do you?

Microsoft (hard wired) mice work for me at home and at work.
