Lopsided stage placement...big crazy room...set up ?
« on: October 30, 2004, 03:10:07 PM »
This is a scary one...its a very big room...but the band plays in the front left quarter.

There is a large glass wall on the left and lots of open air on the right.

I can probably set up more or less in the center, 20-30 feet back...(relaitive to the PA)

Cardioids...I was thinking maybe just A-B might be my best bet...

I'm afraid of pointing anything in the direction that glass wall...

Opinions?

Wander around during the opener to figure out where it sounds best to your ears.  Set up there.  While image center isn't always the same for different bands on the same night, it's a reasonable place to start.
