Just ordered a Rycote INV-6, based on this thread. So it'll hold a delrin active bar? I see a reference to the INV-7. Did I order correctly?

I put a delrin riser in my INV's and thread the delrin bar to the riser as in this photo demonstrating an articulating arm with clamp useful for balcony rail.  The shock mount in the photo is INV-7 MKII but I'll also use a regular INV-7 instead depending on conditions.  The MKII is more rigid, the standard INV-7 has more give to it.

Most likely you're fine. This is a pic I shot of an INV-6 holding my follownbob all-in-one bar with ORTF ends

If you want to hold a riser vertically I agree with DigiGal you probably want one of the MKII's

Personally I would have gone for the INV-7.

There are 3 mounting positions on  the 7 - wide (as supplied), middle and narrow (the narrow is the same spacing as the INV-6).  So, I would have gone for the 7 for the flexibility.
