Title: 744t and Wavelab 6 - 2 x stereo possible now?

I was wondering if anyone that uses a 744t and Wavelab can bypass having to record in 4 mono files now that Wavelab 6 can handle over 2GB files. Is it possible to record 2 x stereo in 24bit?
