Yes.. Though I haven't found a benchmark result for any reader that is more than 8MB/sec.

~ 16 minutes for 2-gig, or ~2 Mb/sec usining the deck into an XP IBM laptop. 

Sandisk Ultra II SD seems spec'd at ~25Mb/sec so maybe ~70-80 sec possible 2-gig transfer using special Sandisk 2.0 cardreader?

i have a generic gray cardreader that i got from newegg for $7 that transfers considerably faster than when you connect the r09 directly to the PC.

OK......I owe someone a beer... ....1.88 gigs.....which is a 2gig card full......3.55 minutes transfer time..........When ever you come to New Jersey I'll buy you that beer....
