anybody ever feed a JB3 9v??

Yeah, that's right it's fried!

really what I want to know isn't "do you think it'll ever work again" so much as "do you think it's possible to get the recordings I haven't transfered yet off of the damn thing?"

basically I thougt I was powering the UA5 with my powerrunner and my JB3 with internalls.  I wasn't getting a signal so I checked the battery.  Bingo, it was putting out 6v.  No wonder the UA5 wasn't on.  So I adjust it up to 9v real quick and poof no more JB3.

live and learn I guess...  Maybe I'll upgrade now?...

so how hard is it to swap these HDs. and If I can swap the HD do you think it will work?  when you fry one of these is the whole think done or just the enclosure and power supply?
